Royal Kingdom of Anuradhapura
After a delicious breakfast, enjoy a wonderful drive through the amazing countryside towards Anuradhapura — one of the greatest and oldest civilizations in the world, the first capital ruled by 113 kings for over 1,000 years. En route, visit Munneshwaram Hindu Kovil. Visit the iconic Ruwanweliseya, a monument built in 140 BC.
Trincomalee / Eastern Coast
Travel towards the eastern coast and visit the city of Trincomalee — an amazing multicultural town with lovely places such as Nilaveli Beach, Pigeon Island, and Koneswaram Kovil. With its white sand and gentle waves, Trincomalee Beach is the ultimate getaway for those who desire a relaxing vacation.
Explore Pigeon Island — Underwater Marine Life
Head to the beautiful golden sandy beach and take a boat to explore Pigeon Island. The island possesses a 200m coral reef with over 100 species of exquisite corals — a perfect heaven for scuba diving, snorkelling, and surfing enthusiasts.
Polonnaruwa Ancient City / Minneriya Jeep Safari
Visit Polonnaruwa ancient city (UNESCO) — the second capital, ruled by 56 kings for over 8,000 years. Cycling through Polonnaruwa's ancient sites is a wonderful experience. Afternoon: head to Minneriya National Park for a 4x4 jeep safari — the best time to spot wild elephants at the Great Elephant Gathering.

Visit Sigiriya Lion Rock Fortress (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Climb a series of vertiginous staircases to reach the top, passing remarkable frescoes and a pair of colossal lion paws carved into the bedrock. Then enjoy a cultural village tour via Tuk Tuk and catamaran boat ride, ending with a Sri Lankan curry cooking demonstration.
Golden Cave Temple / Kandy City

Stop at a tea plantation and factory to observe the rich tradition of Ceylon Tea processing.
Train Journey into the Mountains / Mini Adam's Peak
Enjoy a spectacular train journey from Nanu Oya to Ella village — one of the most picturesque hill country train journeys in the world.
